This week at SP300, your local car garage in Sheffield, we’ve had the pleasure of working on not one, but two Lotus Elises. Both were in for services, but the second one was a bit of a special car – a real treat for us and any Lotus fan! This particular car was a Lotus Elise S1 111S 49 Millennium Edition – a special edition that celebrates Lotus’ rich Grand Prix history, only 50 of these were made. It's a rare model that you don’t see every day, and we were proud to have it in the workshop.
The S1 Elise is often underrated compared to the later S2 models, but in our opinion, these cars look stunning in person and handle just as well. The lightweight design and balanced chassis make them a joy to drive – and to work on!
Lotus Elise Service and Cam Belt Change
